Safi Plate # 1167
This art work is made in Safi, Morocco. Safi is on the Atlantic coast and is known for its ceramic work. It was hand-thrown on a potterís wheel, hand etched & painted, using traditional colors and designs Safi in known for. Moroccans use these plates to serve salads and or display on their homeís walls and other places in the house. These plates have two holes at the base for a string so that if you decide to hang them, you have that possibility. You can also use these plates to serve your favorite chocolate or any other sweets. Also, when you by roses, donít throw the petals away! Take them and display them on a plate, they look beautiful and you can still enjoy them even when they are dry!!
