White saharan gandora

This garment, traditionally called gandora, is worn by men in the Saharan regions of Morocco. It is prestigious for men of the Sahara to wear lots of cloth, so this garment is large and is one size fit all. It has the traditional opening along its sides. Some men would wear it on top of another long garment that could be short or long sleeved, others wear it with a long sleeved shirt and pants and others wear it, during summer, by its self on top of baggy pants. A long cotton turban is a traditional accent that is usually worn with these garments. The fabric has beautiful motifs such as the crescent moon and star woven into it and has gold embroidery around the neck (front and back) and front pocket. The fabric is a nice soft blend of cotton and rayon.
Hand or machine wash (cold water), dryer safe. You might want to steam or iron after washing.
